I have a seminar called The Vampire in Anglophone Cultures – Transformations of a Monster at university this semester and th lecturer started her introduction with a video from College Humor to show that there have been many different kinds of vampire adaptations since the original Dracula. IT'S HILARIOUS WATCH IT! (Bill! And Edward and Dracula....AND EVEN COUNT COUNT ♥!)

The new Kate Nash album My Best Friend Is You is great! I just CAN'T stop listening to Do Wah Doo (& watch the video! Kate Nash is just so cute and funny.)

I'll just read a book instead.
I don't care if we're just friends.
I can hang out with myself
I'm old enough now to pretend.
I'll just read a book instead.

I want to share one of my mother's cabaret artist/comedian with you: Horst Evers! (German only, I'm afraid.)
Please watch THIS video. The 'bread from yesterday' is so incredible hilarious ♥ It is far at the end of the video, but if you have some time, please watch the whole thing. It is just THAT good.
(I would also strongly recommend: FETTER AUSDRUCK)

While rewatching Lucky Star, because it is glorious and also the best thing to watch when you want to relax and not thing about too much about coherent plotline(s), I came across MY FAVOURITE LUCKY STAR SCENE EVER!! (Which is a lie, because I love most every scene in that damn show... ♥!!) I found it incredibly hilarious, when I first saw it but this time I looked for the cm WHERE KONATA'S ANTICS COME FROM and think it's even more hilarious now :D

And on the radio
You hear November Rain
That solo's awful long
But it's a good refrain
You listen to it twice
'Cause the DJ is asleep

They had a tiny review on Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening this morning and since IT IS SO PRETTY I really, really want it.
(Nevermind that I don't have the stupid game for the XBox anyway....WOE IS ME.)

"you pampered poodle!" yeah, baby! vandal hearts really knows how to insult its villains :D i'm playing the game i used to watch mom play ♥
it's one of her favourite games and i know that i have spent a good deal of my childhood watching mom play vh 1 & 2 and others (e.g. shining force). i've watched her play dozens of games, but since she loves these tactic games the most, i remember them best. (around christmas she had spent about 200 hours playing disgaea 3 and i know that she always masters every job with every character in final fantasy tactics. somehow she's addicted to these tactic games and i love to tease her about it :D)
vandal hearts is fun, has a surprisingly nice plot (ah! rebellion! war! saving people and a kingdom!) and most of all it's good for a short study break now and then :)

Without much ado these two games give you the opportunity to have gay sex. How neat is that? :)
Thanks Bioware for including it without a fuss ♥
(But OH I WANT WANK! The comments on youtube are wonderful and stupid enough, but good wank always makes my day ♥ Best comment on youtube (to the Dragon Age video): "now if only they had had this in Twilight Princess".)

Mass Effect:Lila and Femshepard Romance

First of all isn't Femshepard the most hilarious word EVER? Strange but funny compound.
The scene is nice too, although the version of Shepard is a bit ugly. I like Lila and one day when I am actually playing the game myself, I'll give her a prettier Shepard :D

Dragon Age: Sex with Zevran

Haha, he IS funny! Give him some boots and he'll give you pleasure in exchange. Not too bad a deal, is it? I like it. Although I still need to get used to his accent (Spanish elves? What are the French, dwarfs? That would be funny, but they countries in DA might as well be mixed race countries, I have no clue.)
Is the PS3 version of the game any good?* Or shall I wait for the day I'll finally have an XBox360 to play Dragon Age.
* If it's good I know what daddy's (AND MY!) christmas present will look like...

Following [personal profile] halcyonjazz's thought: If you can determine the quality of a Final Fantasy on the 'quality' of it's Cid... OH BLISS! OH JOY! ;D
(For this one I'd rather measure the quality of the game on Lightning, Hope (oh boy, Larsa syndrome!) and, of course, the Eidolon. Alexander, Odin and Bahamut are stunning and I've always been in love with the Esper/Bestia/Guardian Forces/Summoned Beasts/...)

"& that was the third time I died."

Utterly in love with those guys ♥!

Something else entirely:
Voluptuous & sexy Gemma Arterton
Thanks for not being a skinny bitch and still looking this good ♥

Very related to that:
Prince of Persia Movie Trailer
HER VOICE & HER PRETTY ♥! But it's not only that ;) The action looks good, the costumes are neat, the special effects seem solid and the setting as well and while I am not enjoying the looks of the Prince to much, I really enjoy the bad guy's... Oh and the music's epic too, what's more to love? Looks like a movie I'll enjoy!
(I also want the newest PoP game like NOW...)

One of the few things I love about Final Fantasy VIII is the waltz for the moon. I am not particularly romantic but if I ever marry, I could imagine this song being the song of married pair's first dance. It is incredibly beautiful and I adore the playful oppulence and... just close your eyes and listen to it.

Breath of Fire

Awww, they look just like a good band of adventurers, don’t they?

Ah, the nostalgia! The graphics, the music, the dragon shrines & most of all Ryu &hearts,!
It's fun although I have to say that I am lost here and there. The people in the various towns don't say much about where I should go sometimes, so searching the world map for possible destinations is part of the game. I absolutely adore that there's day and night and that you can hunt with Bo. The abilities of the different characters are nifty, too, but you have to figure out what you can do (and of course that there's something to do) on your own. Mum told that it took her ages to get into Agua tower, because she hadn't figured out Bo's ability... Breath of Fire is much fun and for a game 'that old' there are many features that are simply amazing! I was so happy that the character who are not in my current party still get their share of EXP and that there was no need to level up characters like Gobi, Ox or Bleu. I like them, but to have rather weak characters in your party is tedious.
What I extremely liked was one woman in Auria, I guess, actually said to me: "What are you doing in my house?" It made me so happy because when I was a child I always wondered why the hell people let me into their houses (and t steal stuff, too) and were so nice to feed me with vital information as to where to go next in order to save the world.
I wonder how the GBA version is different from the SNES one, if at all. But I don’t remember many details of the SNES version, after all it’s been a while and the last time I played the game on the SNES I didn’t finish it because I kept on putting off fishing. I hate fishing and had forgot that in BoF fishing is so easy and you do it in wells where you can get the items you’re fishing for with only one try most of the time.
And every game with a good bitch fight is just made of awesome. (Tunlan ♥!)
I’d love to have more character interaction to see Nina and Bleu argue more (“I’m not THAT obnoxious!”) and also because Karn and Bo are really cool and they’d deserve some more spotlight. (Ryu too, the almost silent protagonist that he is.)
The soundtrack is very nice too. Yoko Shimomura and all ♥!

Ryu and Nina I understand, but why the random character selection of Bo and Ox? What have they what the others don’t?

But I do listen to something other while playing at the moment and that would be the ‘new’ album of Regina Spektor, namely Far and it is made of awesome. (Who would have thought, huh?)
